A LITTLE ABOUT THE GOATS CURRENTLY IN THE HERD. |
My goats are not currently all Saanens, in October one of Timyon Bluemoon's AOV daughters, Timyon Blueberry, returned to the herd along with Timyon Frankie, a Saanen, always called Bettie, and the last duaghter of R249 Timyon Julia born in 2009. Berry was a first kidder when she left giving over two gallons a day two years ago, hopefully she is in kid to Minirohan. Frankie did not kid last year although she was scanned with three but came into season the day she returned and has again been scanned with three. Timyon Jemini, called Mini, because she is the smallest of all the SM Donleys Aramis Br Ch X RM278 Timyon Jeanie Q*2 Br Ch ofspring. Now RM242 Timyon Jemini *3 Br Ch she needs only a Q* for her full championship. She is now six years old and running through to keep me in winter milk, her udder is still good and her confirmation exceptional, probably the best ever in a Timyon goat if not my perfect Saanen type. Timyon Jenisara *4 Br Ch is my type of goat, a lovely Saanen, she reminds very much of her illustrious mother, RM195 Timyon Jennie, to whom she is line bred, she has a lovely udder and wonderful breed type. I lost Jennie far to young and have never really recovered from her loss. Timyon Dinkie is a daughter of Timyon Minijem (daughter of Jemini), I kidded Minijem as a kid producing four, of which Dinkie was the smallest and not expected to live but with my daughters perseverance she did live and was very succesful in the show ring as a goatling, she aborted in 2011 around 14 days from the due date and did not milk well. She still took the BCC at the Royal Norfolk the only time shown and we must wait and see what she does in 2012. Timyon Minirose, daughter of Jemini, sister of Minirohan, very successful kid and goatling I am current waiting to see the udder. Last but not least of my females is the goatling Timyon Minijess from Timyon Jemini, looked good as a kid, not a goatling until the end of May we must wait and see. 2010
